Job Description

Desired Expertise: Workovers, completion, production, drill-outs
Experience: 2+ Years
Minimum Education:  High School or equivalent
Location: Midland, TX

Position Summary: . Floor hands are responsible for all duties assigned by the Rig Operator.  This may include but is not limited to making/breaking pipe or rods, cleaning tools, heavy lifting of pipe or other tools, etc.  This job requires long hours and the strength to lift 50+ pounds.  We work in all weather conditions provided the client allows work to continue and safety is not jeopardized.  He/ she must also interact with all customers in a courteous and respectful manner. Failure to provide adequate services will jeopardize customer to company relationships.  Safety is the responsibility of each individual!  We cannot force employees to be safe.  Safety is a choice.

The core areas of accountability include but are not limited to:
•Wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing duties.
•Reporting all safety issues, incidents, and concerns to management, as well as notifying supervisor of current or anticipated repair needs
•Responsible for making sure all jobs are run in the most efficient and cost effective manner possible
•Perform other related duties as instructed by management

Working Conditions
The Rig Hand has a physically strenuous and demanding job. He/ she will be lifting, pulling, and managing heavy equipment and objects. The employee will have to work in all weather, and must be prepared for both extreme heat and cold.
